Service, UIUX, Product
2025

Kora Kagaz explores how campus paper recycling can become efficient, more visible, and habit-forming through simple, rewarding interactions.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, I worked on experience design, and UX/UI for the student-facing and admin-facing flows, helping translate sustainability intent into a system people actually use.
Shaped the experience direction for Kora Kagaz, translating research insights into a clear, gamified recycling flow.
Designed key interfaces that make paper disposal trackable, rewarding, and easy to repeat.

Project overview
Kora Kagaz addresses low participation and poor visibility in campus paper recycling by designing a system that encourages consistent behavior, reduces friction, and shows users the impact of their actions.
Opportunity area
We identified that paper recycling on campuses fails not because of lack of awareness, but due to inconvenience, low motivation, and absence of feedback.
How might we design a campus system that helps paper recycling feel simple, visible, and worth doing every day?
A gamified campus experience that makes you recycle used paper and see your impact.

To begin with, we found that non-collected paper in countries like India is a huge problem who’s major source are educational institutes.
So we, as students, decided to research some root problems that consecutively lead to paper waste.
